In the Stillness features in Princess of Wales' carol service

The Princess of Wales's annual carol service 'Together at Christmas' returns to ITV1 on Christmas Eve, with this year's edition paying tribute to those who have helped members of their community during times of hardship. Beamish's In the stillness features in the service, which was recorded at Westminster Abbey on 6 December, and can be viewed at 7.30pm (GMT) on 24 December on ITV1 and ITVX.

The evening will see performances from the Westminster Abbey choir as well as famous faces such as Paloma Faith, Olivia Dean and Gregory Porter, while it will also delve into the personal stories of some of the honourees. In addition to the Westminster Abbey Service, fifteen ‘Together at Christmas’ Carol Services will take place across the UK, hosted by Lord-Lieutenants and supported by The Royal Foundation. They will be held in a variety of places including Royal Cornwall Hospital in Truro and Blackpool Tower Circus.

In the stillness will also be performed many more times over the festive period in the UK and the United States, appearing in events such as the Choir of King's College's Advent Carol Service in Cambridge, as well as concerts in Minnesota, Maryland and Washington D.C.

The Gesualdo Six will perform it as part of their concert at Wigmore Hall on 20 December, which can be streamed live on the Wigmore Hall website and will be available for 30 days after.
