Haven, from Seavaigers, in new collection of BBC Ten Pieces

Haven, from Sally Beamish's Seavaigers, is part of the BBC's new Ten Pieces collection.

Recordings, lesson plans and performance materials can now be accessed on the BBC website alongside interviews filmed recently in Shetland with the composer and the soloists Chris Stout & Catriona McKay.

The new collection of ten pieces, written exclusively by women, gives teachers the opportunity to explore and get creative with fantastic classical music whilst also improving representation of women composers in the classroom.
